The day started with a trip to KidVenture at Pioneer Field

Madison found an F-14 she could fly

She took a REAL flight lesson with a REAL flight instructor and now has 0.3 hours logged toward her Private License!

A flight in a "MASH" Bell 47 helicopter was the highlight of the day

All smiles as our EAA volunteer pilot gives us an aerial tour of the airshow grounds

Lots of exhibits and show planes at Show Center

15,000 airplanes will be tied down at Wittman Field this week

Back down on the ground we got a closeup look at the Goodyear Airship

Then we found a shady spot (under the 1957 Tri-Pacer wing) to watch the airshow
